Costing below other water heating solutions like gas or solar geyser installations and running costs. It costs ±R10 worth of wood a day to heat a normal 150-litre electric geyser from 21°C to 55°C in ±90 minutes as compared to R36 per day using 3 kilowatts of electricity for 4 hours a day at R3 per kilowatt.

Built To Last

The geyser heater is built with various materials depending on the function it serves and the durability needed. Most predominantly with a combination of 2-3mm mild steel, which has been hot-dip galvanized for durability, longevity, and rust resistance, and 1.2mm-2mm stainless steel for its temperature tolerance while maintaining structural integrity and oxidation resistance. The combination of both these predominant materials result in the making of this superior product that has been designed from the ground up to last for years to come.

A geyser heater is a wood-burning water heater that has been designed for easy, year-round use. It connects in-line with your existing solar or electric geyser. Hot water is circulated from the geyser heater and stored inside the insulated tank of the electric geyser. Designed for ease of use and efficiency, the geyser heater can heat 150 litres of water from 21°C to 55°C in ±90 minutes, by simply lighting a small fire with ±8 pieces of dry wood. A geyser heater is perfect for off-grid or suburban living, it is the perfect alternative to electricity, gas or paraffin water heating solutions, and can be used for:
